Akiyama, or ‘Aki’, is my FINAL FANTASY XI avatar. He’s a rather dorky looking Elvaan that well, misses a lot. But when he isn’t whiffing with his sword he’s generally taking the hits as Paladin.

He also tends to switch from whiffing with his sword to whiffing with his great katana from time-to-time on Samurai. He’s also a fully leveled, but not to say fully equipped, Warrior. However, due to tanks being needed more than the normally abundant melee, he plays as Paladin most of the time.

Akiyama has been adventuring in Vana’diel since September 2004 on Leviathan server. Born and bred in San d’Oria, it wasn’t long until he had gained level thirty with Warrior and the ability to obtain the series of quests to unlock the Paladin job, later unlocking the Samurai job, and then, well… all the rest!

Although Akiyama has been in Vana’diel for quite some time now, there are still many achievements yet for him to gain. Not only that, but as new adventures and achievements come into view, the to-do list gets larger and larger.

That isn’t to say that he hasn’t accomplished much. Currently with three level seventy-five jobs and rising skills in crafting, and with more jobs on the way to level seventy-five, Akiyama is meeting goals and accomplishments nearly every day!
